The Spanish Team did it!
We finished the 24 hours race of skiing in Vierumäki.
Rami, Cristina, Sito, Juuso and one new friend, José, have managed the challenge. The whole team have done more than 40 laps and 200km!
Rami did the first lap with the others competitors, about 400 people have participated in this huge event. Every lap was 5km, and every Spanish member did at least one during the first evening.
In the sport hall of Vierumäki we had a lot of support for be alive during the race.
It had a snack place for 24h but also breakfast, lunch and dinner time. In addition, a kiosko, grill, massage service and ski workshop to keep in perfect conditions our material.
At the end of the day, the Spanish team had finished more than 12 laps.
The average of the team time was about 30 minutes per lap, it was a nice cadence.
We didn´t stop during the night because Juuso made a lot of kilometres while Spanish skiers were resting for a few hours.
On 7th February the challenge continued!
It was a beautiful morning and the skiers did their best.
We fought against any adversity that was presented to us
Sometimes the skis didn´t work well, we fell several times, there was more ice than snow, obviously the track was in worst conditions than the first hours and almost there weren´t rails to follow in the hills, but anyways, the Spanish team kept going!
Finally at 18 o´clock on Saturday the race finished.
Rami with the Spanish flag in his hand during a fast lap and Juuso with a finishing epic, they put the finishing touch to the event.
The final countdown was exciting; the whole team celebrated the big effort that they had made.

We really appreciated this detail to us, but also the whole support during the competition and before it.
Then, this adventure have finished with a lot of kilometres in our legs (Sito 10km, Cristina 30km, José 40km, Rami 50km and Juuso 70km), but with a lot of experiences, stories, good moments and a smile in each face.
